Little Einsteins Explore Bowling Green Park

2nd and 9th Grade Life Science students met in Bowling Green Park, the oldest park in New York City, to participate in the first session of Léman Little Einsteins. Students worked together to create a bird's eye view map of the park and cataloged living, non-living, and human-made objects that they found.
Going forward, students will participate in monthly science outings, where they will study temperature, soil quality, and the effects of human interactions on the park. As they collaborate on this project, students will develop a sense of environmental responsibility, one of the key aspects of a Léman Learner. Little Einsteins is also an opportunity for Lower and Upper School students to create strong partnerships, an important part of the Léman one-school mission.
