Student Shoutout: Samia P. '26

We want to give a special student shoutout to senior Samia P., whose work from Léman’s Science Research Program was recently published in the scholarly journal Transfusion. Samia’s research focused on sickle cell disease and was conducted under the mentorship of Dr. Kristine Karkoska from the University of Cincinnati. She began her journey in our program as a 10th Grader, and we’re incredibly proud of all she has accomplished. Congratulations, Samia!
