Léman is open for the 2020-21 school year, offering in-person, hybrid and fully online instruction. We invite prospective families to learn about Léman through a Virtual Admissions Tour. While the Admissions Priority Deadline of Dec 1 for Kindergarten, 6th and 9th grade has passed, Léman continues to accept applications on a rolling basis. In April, students in 2nd through 8th grades participated in the Noetic Learning Math Contest alongside 33,000 students from 772 schools around the country. We are pleased to announce that Léman had 82 participants this year, more than ever before! The Lower and Middle Schools hosted assemblies last week honoring all 82 participants, 9 of whom received Team Winner and Honor Roll medals, and 28 others who earned Honorable Mention recognition. Congratulations to the medal winners (pictured in photo): 2nd grader William Zarytov, 3rd grader Sophie Sprenger, 4th graders Salomé Faucon and Joshua Randall, 5th graders Sarah Silverman, Joseph Candelaria, and Max Schoenstein, 6th grader Vladimir Zarytov, 7th grader Ekaterina (Katya) Volkova, and 8th grader Daniyal Maitekov.
Earlier this year, 46 Middle and High School students participated in the American Mathematics Competitions at levels 8, 10, and 12. The Middle and High Schools hosted assemblies in January and March to recognize the participants and award winners.
