Faculty & Staff Professional Development: Exploring AI to Enhance Learning and Growth

On November 11, our dedicated faculty and staff came together for a full day of professional development. The day featured inspiring sessions aimed at strengthening teaching, collaboration, and innovation across our school community. Highlights included workshops led by our AI Learning & Strategy Team on topics such as AI 101, Accessibility and Adaptability with AI, Flint AI, Claude Artifacts, and Automations for Innovation. These sessions were designed to build confidence and empower educators to thoughtfully integrate AI into teaching and learning. 

Additionally, English Language Arts and Mathematics faculty in Grades 2 through 10 participated in MAP Workshops, exploring student assessment data and identifying strategies to support each student’s growth. Professional development days help Léman faculty and staff grow their knowledge and skills to ensure we are differentiating instruction, applying innovative teaching practices, and helping students achieve academic excellence across all grades.
