Upper Schoolers Premiere the 2023 One Act Play Festival

On Thursday, November 2nd, student thespians premiered the 2023 One Act Play Festival. Set in our 1 Morris Street theater, this year’s showcase highlighted 15 original plays written by middle and high school theater students, as well as the work of alum, Jackson Wiley ‘22. In total, over 50 people, including students, faculty, and staff, helped bring this year’s One Act to life.
This year’s festival was a true celebration of the arts. Revolving around the theme “Night at the Museum,” each play was set in two art museums (one real, one fictional), which housed exhibits where famous stories, paintings, and sculptures came to life! Woven in with each art-inspired scene was a mystery in which museum goers attempted to uncover the museums’ secrets.
