Welcome to the 2023-24 School Year!

On Wednesday, September 6, we welcomed back students and families back to campus for the first day of the 2023-24 school year. After reuniting with old friends and greeting new ones, students headed up to their classrooms to commence a year of building community, exploring new academic concepts, and learning from the varied perspectives of their peers.

As per tradition, we rung in the new school year during our Opening Ceremonies, an annual tradition that celebrates our community’s diversity and spirit. The festivities included a sweet moment in which our seniors led their peers in kindergarten and first grade into the ballroom, a parade of flags representing the 100+ nationalities, ethnicities, and cultural backgrounds that make up our community, a performance but the Upper School Chorus, a speech from Upper School Student Body President Mika H. ‘24 (who has been at Léman since PreK 3!), and the traditional ringing of the bells.

Welcome back, once again. We look forward to what’s sure to be an engaging and productive school year for all!
